Westcott or wait for Eibach for pro?

I have reached a point where I need to lift my 2021 pro a little to meet my off-roading needs. I am trying to decide between westcott designs or waiting for the eibach springs. The prices, at least for past versions are comparable.

I want to keep as close to the stock fox pro ride as possible, as it is really nice. Both claim they stay pretty close.

My concerns are would I need to change the ucas if I went with either? Does the westcott lift affect travel, since it is a spacer and collar and achieves lift by compression of the spring in front (iirc). Should I do rear springs and westcott in front? Are either going to cause more wear in my drivetrain/suspension?

I have been reading, but have not yet been able to track down definitive answers outside of the vendors themselves, which I always take with a grain of salt.

I did the Eibach on the 2020 TRD Pro and just works out very good it handle well the install is easy (with the right tools for the front) Also did the Clam Shell Bushing in the front because the Needle bearing may wear faster due to the change of the angle adding some stress in a way the needle bearing do not handle well, very impressed with the results and Yes the Eibach does stay within the range of the Fox Shocks.

Lots of votes for Eibach, but why? Just curious, not being combative nor am I someone who works for Westcott. Why so many people sure in Eibach? I have a 2021 pro and want to raise just a tad so I can fit 285 without cutting, trimming, rubbing, etc. The westcott kit seems like the way to go. I don’t plan on doing any crazy off roading where I go full flex but you never know where a situation would occur. Pros/Cons with either? Westcott is not really classified as a spacer lift but seems like it is for the most part. Will Eibach’s new springs provide enough lift for 285’s while keeping the stock Fox shocks? Sorry for the long winded post, just trying to decide between the 2 once both are available and to see if anyone is in the same dilemma, as the OP

Well stated because I am in the same boat as you and I don't want to adversely affect the current ride quality (2021 Pro).

I did the Eibach springs on my 2020 Pro. Yes 285’s will fit. It rode and handled really well.

Also tempted to do the springs in the back and wescott up front, since it supposedly keeps suspension geometry.

Ask yourself. Does the Westcott kit check all the boxes for my intended use? If it does, then you have your answer. It was my choice, and I'm quite pleased with it.

EDIT: As it relates to Westcott's lift. There are users with opinions and nonusers with opinions. That's all.

The Westcott front lift is $280 for some spacers. I've heard Westcott say they aren't spacers...........I don't understand his logic behind that one..........but they are spacers.

The Eibach front lift is $200 for lift coils.

Eibach is a much better value for what you get.

It gets better Eibach Front and Rear lift $377 for a well leveled Mild to Moderately hard off road running and great handling on Road.

well considering Eibach doesn't show any spring replacement for the front, it appears Westcott is the only option for 21 trd pro owners...unless you want cornfed spacers, etc.

As of the response I got from them yesterday, Eibach is still waiting on the materials, so they cannot make the front springs for the 2021 pro en masse yet. Was told to check back again in a few weeks.

    EIBACH!!
I did the Eibach's on the front springs, with a 0.4" spacer on top of the shock, and in the rear the Eibach load leveler system with the +200lb springs. Everything still rides fantastic, no issues at all, and my truck sits perfect with a big heavy 5 bike Recon rack on the rear, with 4-5 adults and a back full of mountain bike gear.. couldn't be happier with it...

This looks like it may be my route for my 2021 Pro. Especially with me adding a new front bumper and winch. The Eibach should be exactly what I need!!

Following. The Eibach's look almost perfectly level. Wish there was a little more forward rake.

I got a reply from Eibach earlier this week that they are still waiting on the metal from their supplier. They are expecting some time in the next few weeks to get the materials and have springs available soon after, but no guarantees there are not more supply delays.

I think this is worth waiting for. The springs should have a much better ride than the spacers, right? And they cost difference will be negligible at best.

The Springs have a great ride better (my opinion) than spacers and have be performing excellent in the different trails I have been on now mind you the trails are not the ones where a spotter walks the entire thing! One thing of Note is Eibach has the rear springs listed on the website for the 21 year 4Runner however not the fronts yet.

I chose the Eibach springs. I liked how it stiffened up the ride just a little. Took away that plush ride.

More like a soft ride for a 4runner. The springs take away that nose dive. It did look bad looking. But loving my tundra Pro.

Just think about it this way Westcott is a spacer but instead of going on the top hat side it goes on the bottom of the spring doing the same thing I would go with the Eibach Spring if i was doing it good luck
