My freakin tires are dry-rotting. Never noticed before they did loose a little air over the winter.Got to do the valve stems too.

I am thinking about buying my old girlfriends IROCZ from her. Long story short, I evaluated it and she bought it back when we were dating. I drove it for months while she was getting her license. She sold it to a friend 15 years ago, she bought it back six months ago, she's getting ready to sell it because now she has a kid... No going to lie, both good memories and it is one clean one... Beautiful blue. Just have to convince my wife that it's a good decision to add another to the 15 cars we already have haha

 

They didnt make the IROC in 1991. It was called the RS (Rally Sport). Baddest 175 Horsepower on the street!

 

lol but like 225 FootPounds of torque on the 5.0 which makes it fun to drive to the car show. Like a twenty minute drive.

 

I'm trying to find the picture of an IROCZ I had for a brief min. It was some weird special order (allegedly, I never confirmed engine with casting numbers etc). It was a family members, he passed, I got it for a few months before passing it to other family members who sold it. It was an IROCZ convertible with a 350 and automatic in burgundy with a black leather interior. The wiring gremlins were horrible but it was a fun one to cruise when it was running and not overheating haha. I'm not a big 3rd Gen buff so I don't know all the options they had.

 

I know a guy who had a Ducati. He would go 120mph everywhere he went. Its like doing 45mph on anything else.

 

They run hot, around 200+degrees. That helps with emissions. The cylinder walls are thicker on the 5.0., My Z28 actually runs too cool.

Last summer in Bar Harbor, ME I saw these 2 interesting Ferraris. The green one is the most unusual color scheme Ive ever seen on one. I was told a local owns these and they just cruise around town every afternoon, we passed it on the street many times.

 

Bar Harbor also has a little hidden gem old car museum. My third time visiting and they have different stuff each time - check out the woodwork on this old Peugeot. Thats my son and my Dad checking it out - my Dad went though a Peugeot fan phase in the 90s and owned 3 of them (after his British sportscar phase and before he started driving a Suburban, go figure )

 

Another cool one from our travels - we where in Arizona last year when the Copperstate 1000 passed through...
