What kind of exhaust did y’all put in your 4runner?. I see magnaflow has the new overland series And the flowmaster has the FLow FX exhaust. Obviously huge price difference but Which or what kind of exhaust would y’all recommend?.

My recomendation..stock. It's a V6. Nothing can make it sound cool. Not looking for flame, just my opinion.

    Welcome & agree.
Stock rocks unless you want a drone sound. Then get the TRD exhaust (from what I read).
Seriously an exhaust will cost you money with no return on driveability or power. Some hate all aftermarket exhausts.
Wait for responses or start a poll!

I knew a guy who spent all day swapping out the stock for an aftermarket kit. By the time they finished they were exhausted.

I had the TRD and loved the sound but the drone was a deal breaker. Shame on Toyota for putting on the Pro!
I'm waiting on magnaflow overland as they advertise no drone. If it works, great, if not back it goes

Stock! Unless of course your doing other "breathing" mods like a blower, head work, intake and cold air system.

Custom Magnaflow exhaust with Series 50 Flowmaster Muffler. Absolutely love it. Sounds amazing as well.

I'm really curious if the different exhaust manufacturers sub out parts like many other company / products do?
Reason I ask it that in the forums I read Borla, Gibson, Magnaflow etc is awesome!
On the same forums I read Borla, Gibson, Magnaflow etc suck!
Wouldn't surprise me if they each get a supply of crap every now and then.
