TSO grill vs TRD Pro grill?

    TSO grill is much cheaper, any experience with the quality?

    That seems quite a bit cheaper, like less than half the price of the Pro, isn't it?

    Yeah, I’ve heard it has some slight fitment issues, but for 50% of the price who cares.

    Wait... I just looked at it again. It says TSO Pro Grille COVER, so that's why the price difference.

    They are all covers. Look at the oem one. Just sticks on with 3m tape.

    Looks like the normal Toyota emblem.. but they removed the emblem and put the plastic cover over it.

    The same 4Runner everyone has
    The TRD Pro grill (like all other Pro accessories) is installed portside after arriving from Japan. They change the small upper grate and stick on the TOYOTA black cover right over the stock piece.

    From what I understand, TSO says that the factory piece is cast ABS and is very stout, it will come off intact. The TSO cover is made of thermoformed PET and will be destroyed if you decide to remove it. Both look pretty identical on the truck though.
