I could use any quality. 223/5.56 @ a good price. Maybe an ammo swap & trail meet-up!?

+P and self defense rounds are unicorns these days. I've found one place that has HST in 45 ACP for sale - $3.20/round. Yikes.

I honestly find defensive rounds more frequently than target rounds around here

If you can find 45ACP for a decent price; let me know! I will buy online or pay you shipping.
Yeah, it is like that around here!
    Thanks,

I will for sure. I make a trip to the local shops once a week to look for ammo. I found 500 rds of .45 for 38 cents a round a few months ago.

    Well, it came!
My friend was going to our FFL & grabbed mine for me. He brought it over with his FN 509 on the top (simulated by my Glock).
He said "Yours is in the pizza box." I laughed and said really; it didn't come in a box? He must not have understood & disregarded my statement.
He then proceeded to pick up his box & I was able to see what he was talking about! It truly comes in a FNX "pizza box"!
He then shows me this Sig Sauer reflex he had bought for it before medical issues caused him to sell his guns? It is specifically designed for the FNX & requires no "base plate". Had to buy it! :spending:
It is the California compliant version so I got 2x 10rnd mags. I will order a couple bigger ones. Otherwise; I don't see me putting a can on it. I like needing a warrant to come search my house! :spy:
I cannot wait to find out how she shoots! I have a few hundred rounds I can sacrifice for this! :quickdraw:
The ergonomics are excellent but the front stippling on the front of the grip is horizontal which isn't ideal if wet. I can get that changed. Otherwise she is done & ready to run & protect. Oh, obviously I need a holster! Lol
    Ryan.

It is apparently supposed to. I did not find that setting last night. I haven't played with it much today. Been busy.

I have one and it does. I believe after 2 minutes of no movement it shuts off.

If you haven't got a holster already, check out alien gear. I have a couple of their holsters and really like them, especially for carrying a full-size gun.

I remember trying on one of my buddies Alien Gear (years ago) & it wasn't that comfortable. I am currently looking @ crossbreed holsters. This one in particular.
I did a little research today. Let me know if you know anything about them.

I've heard good things about crossbreed but don't have any experience. The double clips are a must have in my opinion for a full size gun. Looks like a solid choice!

I know if I had a gun, say a nice 1911, I'd wrap it in a Milt Sparks Criterion. Kinda like this one. I've read on the intertubes that they are really comfortable, very secure, don't move, and
use magnets rather than snaps for the belt loops, which I've also read, work really well. Not that I would know from experience. Nope. No way. I've also read that a good
holster is worth it's weight in Bitcoin, even if it's little more pricey. But that's just what I've read. Man, whoever owns that 1911 needs to take care of that wear mark!

    Buy once, cry once!

Seriously, I went through a bunch of holsters, but none were quite right. I then bought a custom leather/kydex from a local guy for a 9mm I used to have, and man, what a difference.
Once I switched to the Lord's caliber, I decided to spend some money on this one. It was worth every penny!

    They make a great product.
I am looking for IWB or at least something secure I can throw in my bag as a truck gun...

I like the distribution but the lack of leather or any padding looks like it would dig into my side...
My N82 holster for my Glock 23c is amazingly comfortable.

It's all leather! With a little sharkskin trim. Once it broken in, it's like butter. I've carried it all day and barely noticed it. I even accidentally went in my office one day with it still on my hip.
No bueno. I carry at 4 oclock, and it tucks in and doesn't print at all. No problems driving with it either. But everyone is different and it may not work for others. I'll show it to you if you get to CO this year...

We really need to get to Colorado this Spring/ Summer. Covid is depressing & we could use a nice trip.
Glad to hear about the holster! I need something for this 5+" barrel.
    I will keep in touch!

I am a 3-4 o'clock carrier myself. It may work great for me.
Something so I can drive & still sit down for dinner without adjustment!

Even those are starting to get expensive. It is very sad to see. It is one hobby you can do @ any age & the "climate" makes it cost prohibitive to keep up on skills; forget having fun with a day of shooting. If I took out a few different guns we could go through $500 of ammo in a half day.
