Trail/camp spot suggestions

    Curious if anyone can give some trail/camp spot suggestions. Husband and I are going to NJ for thanksgiving and we'll be driving his Tacoma since it's our overlanding/camp vehicle. We haven't been past Arkansas yet so we don't know of any good spots out east. The pic is the two routes we'll be taking to/from our destination from OKC. So what are you fave wheeling spots that might be along our route??

    If you take that southern route, the smokies will be right there for you. Then you can drive and camp the blue ridge parkway north of that.

    I'm in springfield mo. There is a crazy ba off road park in my area but not sure if you want to go out of the way for it also when are you coming through?

    That park will be closed by them I'm almost certain of it. None the less there are some amazing drives in the area anyhow
