I didn't even know the 3rd Gen RAV4 was available as an EV! I believe these were California-only, and someone brought it here; I saw it sitting in front of a shop that specializes in EVs, so it's probably getting work done to be made roadworthy...

It took years, but I finally found one in the wild; 1983 Tercel SR5 4WD wagon, and it's even a 5-speed with A/C!

This is in great shape! I had a 1987 2WD 5-speed, brown, and it was a great little car. The carb got a little picky as time went by (200k+ miles), and on cold days if I let it sit for 10+ hours overnight, it would be difficult to start in the morning. So I got in the habit of starting it before bedtime, brushing my teeth, then turning it off and going to bed. Just running it for 10 minutes is all it needed. One night I forgot the turning-off bit, and that thing sat there in my driveway and idled for over 5 hours before I realized what I'd done. Besides the quarter tank of gas lost, there was no harm done. Sturdy little car.
