Just got back from a trip to Pine Valley Truck trail here in San Diego and the new mods did great. This is a short out and back trip just to test the mods out . WOW i am highly impressed with this 4runner . Toyota has done well but the mods are just the icing on the cake.

i agree they are on the list . I am looking for some that are not just the standard tube type. Slee Off Road has one that i like but i figure i'd keep researching. Got any ideals?

I like my RCI sliders. Close to the body, kick out is just out enough for my son to use as a step.

Looking to upgrade suspension & lift ~2" for 33" tires(re-geared or not).
    +1
...and some thin front mudflaps work well too. After cutting off the thick, stock flaps on my 00' Nissan X....thin ones, screwed(or pop-riveted) in keep the front doors much cleaner, but nice looking truck.
