Hmmm... Why did I think California?? Everything beyond Missouri must seem like California to me. :D

Well, California isn't too far for a road trip. :) maybe 2023?

Yes! Colorado or Utah 4Runner meet, 2023. Let's do it!

Considering 255/80s for stock OR wheels with 2.5 lift. Reviving this thread just to poke around.

Im lost in all the tire threads, but seem to recall some 255/80s have the same tire width as the stock 265s. I think I’d like that. The stock width ko2s have a great look to them from the front, so something that is close to that width I think would look good visually from the front. Thinking on the 255/80 size mostly to avoid having to cut/chop, and not have to worry about crashing into UCAs in case I ever get UCA that are on wider side (because Im also planning to keep the stock wheels)

Ideally would also like a c rated tire that is winter capable. Anybody know of anything new or up and coming on the market ?

Skinnies do tend to be easier to clear. The only downside seems to be a very limited selection of options. IIRC, all of your options will be LT tires.

It looks like your best options right now would be the Toyo AT3 or Wildpeaks.
