Tires and leveling kit

I need help. I’m planning on putting a leveling kit on my 2022 4Runner limited 4wd. Will 285/60/20 Toyo open country tires fit with just a leveling kit?

 

I am doing the same thing to my 4Runner limited 2021. Be sure that your leveling kit fits Xreas system. Also you may need to push your fenders back.

I am doing the same thing to my 4Runner limited 2021. Be sure that your leveling kit fits Xreas system. Also you may need to push your fender. I’m not 100 percent sure but I do believe you will need smaller rims, to fit 285s. I am buying 17inch wheels to fit 285s. The stock rims are 20inch on a limited.

 

2022 Toyota 4-runner limited 4wd with xreas system. Installed 3in Corn Fed leveling kit with 285/60/20 Toyo open country mt. Pushed front fender up a little and removed the smaller part of the mudd flap on the backside of the front fenders no scrubbing at all

 

What leveling kit did you purchase?

 

Corn fed

 

If you have a 4wd, you are not going to lift it high enough without requiring a diff drop down bracket
If you have a 2wd you can lift it higher without worry
You are going to need AT MINIMUM 2.5" of lift up front and the fenders pushed forward and remove the mud flaps or you are going to rub like hell
If you have a 4wd with Xreas, pretty much 1.5" is as high as you can go without a diff drop down bracket
If you pull the Xreas off you can put SR5 shocks or aftermarket shocks on and do a 2.5" lift up front with diff drop down bracket

You can run a 2" up front and fit a 275/55-20 or a 285/55-20 with moving inner fender forward and removing mud flaps
You can run a 2.5" up front and fit a 305/50-20 with moving the inner fender forward and removing the mud flaps
If you have a 4wd you are going to rub like hell with a 285/60-20 even with removing the mud flaps, you simply cant get the front high enough due to the front diff.
If you have a 2wd you can lift it higher but you are still going to rub like hell cause thats a big tire. Thats a 33.5 x 11.2, the first problem is rubbing the A-arm the second is the inner fender against the front bumper, the third is the inner fender where the mud flap mounts, the fourth is the body mount.
I would suggest one of the other 3 sizes i listed which will all fit much more better.
