“Bro lean” or whatever the f it’s called is about the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. I build everything we own I’m not sure what to call that. And I’m the type that doesn’t call the cops, but if someone hit me or my wife and kids in one of those because they can’t see s*** driving them I would sue till I owned that pos monstrosity, there house and every penny in there bank account

It’s a safe bet that most people dropping more money in wheels than the value of the vehicle they’re mounted on dont own a home, and their banking is mostly loans. Whether they hold a clear title on the vehicle is iffy.

We don't have a lot of the bro-leaning trucks around here, but you make a good point about visibility.

It reminds me of the ski boats at the lake my wife and I fish at sometimes. They speed around with their ballasts full and bow/nose so high in the air that the driver can't see, and just expect everyone to get out of their way as they blindly make their wildly erratic, high speed maneuvers. Same attitude and indifference to other peoples' safety IMHO.

This is a sign of how and why we need laws. Because common sense is not there. In my opinion these people deserve to lose their license immediately and should not be allowed to drive again until they can show common sense. What if a kid were to run into the street or a ball were to roll out into the street (usually with a kid not far behind)? Everyone else in a normal vehicle would see it and stop. They would have no clue and just run over whatever came in front of them. Someone can easily get killed. People that support this are dumber than rocks. At least rocks provide a purpose.

The Tacoma wheels and tires do not look good in my opinion but it is a TRD sport and not an off-road so probably only 2 wheel drive. I still find it pointless as stated by many others (more stress on the wheels, suspension, and other components). There are reasons for a sidewall on tires.

Well, it seems that most of them have fixed their approach angles, at least. Departure is gonna take some thinkin' though.

Finally! A thread thats talkin my language.

Them bro leaners drive me nuts! I seen a few of them out my way and wanted to give them a lickin'.

Ass high is what the sweet baby Jesus intended. I welded some lift coils together and now have 17" of lift in the back with no lift in front. i can practically see my own front bumper!

At least you can see the road in front of you. Just make sure you have a backup camera for when you backup and you will be okay. Looks like you have the departure angle down but not sure about the approach angle. I guess your approach can be accomplished by going backwards but then your departure angle is screwed up.

    :puke:

I wish we could sterilize people who do this.

That makes sense. You're reducing your visibility. It's just dangerous.

Agreed! It should be regulated for safety reasons, if nothing else.

The only good thing about it is that it lets other drivers know the person is a fucking idiot and to be careful driving near them. :D

    Who is butt hurt?

What is wrong with poking a little fun at people who modify their vehicles in a stupid way?

I can agree that a lot of off-road vehicles are modified in unnecessary ways. But, some people modify their cars in ways that make them downright dangerous to drive.

Dumb mods are one thing. Dangerous ones are another and should be strongly discouraged.

Until now I assumed that these vehicles had hydraulic suspensions. But they don’t, do they? They’re this way all the time?
