Do you guys bother to swap out your spare when you change rims?

I have upgraded to the 17” matte black TRD rims, but only for the main four. Now I’m considering buying the fifth wheel.

Also my spare is still stored on the underside, so no one would really see it.

Just wanted to get an outside opinion.

I've had a lot of different sets of rims over the years and I have never bothered to change the spare to match.

It depends on your setup. There are some suspension setups that require more offset to run a full size matching spare. In the end as long as it’ll bolt on and fit, with a full sized matching tire you’re good.
