So it begins.... I have been trying to start this build thread for the last couple days lost on where to begin. So here we go!

My first 4Runner was a 4th gen 4Runner. This 4Runner still exists and right now is still my pride and joy until I can get a little more love into my new one. Some of you may see it around this forum as it currently resides under the 4th gen 4Runner builds under Relentless Runner 2.0 from @Relentless (I used to call her the HoRunner.) This 4Runner will remain as our main wheeling rig while my new 4Runner a 2016 Trail Edition Premium will be our more family/overland rig.

    20160603_142550_zpsk9nl6eel_cddf39c349b5ee705800b8cc8663d78ba92febed.jpg

Now onto the 2016 already....Nicknamed the Black sheep for obvious reasons. 1. Well it's black. 2. Both our other current rigs are silver so she stands out.

Here is when we first laid eyes on each other....She had her hair all done up for me. Custom ordered without KDSS.

    File%20Aug%2012%203%2048%2009%20PM_zpsuy_c4966e6df374cdecba040a06da1f89ed4370dcb0.jpg

Took her on our first road trip to the Oregon Coast.

Now to list the good stuff....

The day has come where I officially no longer need to stare at the ugly silver front bumper trim on my trail.

Say hello to my new @Relentless Lo-Pro Stingray bumper soon to be released to the public. So in love with this design! Now to get a winch!

How do those 885's ride and how much lift did they give? I did the Wheelers T1 coils and they gave me a little less lift than expected. They state 2.5" but it only ended up being about 2ish. I am debating going to OME since I dont really want to have to add spacers. Ive always heard OME is a little stiff.

They gave me about 2.5" of lift. I think they ride pretty nice, they don't feel too stiff. On Tacoma's and 4Runners they have been great for us, but on my husbands Tundra they ride like a brick.

Tested out the crawl control this weekend. Seemed to definitely "control" my pace going down steep hills.

Finally got the time to put my "TRAIL" badges on. Painted them red to match my devil horns on the front. To celebrate I had to show them off on this trail....ha

May I ask a little about your Devil Horn install on your 2016? Best I can tell the install on 2016s is not as straight forward as in previous years....so many more brackets behind the emblem. In general how did you go about installing?

I don't remember it that well, it took like 10 minutes. I believe I had to unclip the grille and unscrew a piece on the back of the Toyota emblem to take it off. Sorry I did it a few months ago so it's kind of a blur.

You should remove the SR5 badges and get custom ones instead. That would be cool. Didn't you have access to a 3D printer?
