best part is it's a 4x2, and he took it back on some DNR trails that don't get plowed in the winter. WHY. Luckily I was up at my dads already so his 4x4 Tacoma got to stay warm and cozy in the garage. 4Runner did just fine rescuing the S10. Got to break in my new tow strap as well.

well he also has a lawn ornament. 94 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 on it's second motor and 4th transmission. Doors don't shut on it either. No head liner. one piece of the back window is plexiglass, rust galore. Pretty sure he also grenaded the transfer case.

But my dad and I's Toyota's are "pieces of shit".

I'd say you need new calipers.

One way to test: after driving, carefully test to see if the wheels are hot, or if one is hotter than the other

    I do

Yep! They're going on the FJ this summer!

Install is simple. Taking apart the CV is the most difficult part.

You remove the shaft from both the inner and outer CV joint, there's no sliding it over from the outside... Lol

just a snap ring and the outer joint comes off? never done CVs usually just replace CV joint completely.

Pretty much what Alex said. It'll be just like any other boot install so long as you have everything apart.

They seem nice so far though. I've been running one side without a clamp (inner) and not a single bit of grease has come out as far as I can tell.
