Has anyone seen someone swap Tacoma TRD Off Road wheels onto a 4Runner?

I was thinking about it and I think those "cog" looking wheels might look pretty good on my 4Runner. I was not able to find anything here, on Tacomaworld, or google.

What year Tacoma? 15 or older are 16" wheels and won't work on a 4runner.

The 2016-2018 Tacoma Off Road wheels are 16 inch, too. Why wouldn’t they work on the 4Runner? You’d need new tires of course.

Hmm I didn't know the 3rd Gen tacos had 16" also:anonymous:. Like jester243 said need min 17" because of the brakes. Bummer cuz there's so many more good options of wheels and tires in 16" in my opinion.

Interesting. Didn’t know that. Yes, the Off Road Tacomas have 16 inch wheels. The Sport models have 17 inch and the Limited models have 18 inch wheels.

Damn, I could have sworn that the wheels I had on my 17 Tacoma were 17's but looks like they were 16's. Those are the ones I was thinking of.

    Is plasti-dip a mod?!
Nope, those won’t work. The runner has larger brakes and must have 17s or larger.
