how are this 9005s doing? Did you modify anything or add a PWM interface module of some sort to keep the DRLs from flickering?

How bad is the flickering on the 9005 LED's? I suppose you could disable DRL and just use the 9005 LED for high beams only?

Very happy with the LasFit front and rear turn signal lights - very bright, well made, solid construction. They cost a bit more than some others, but the quality is worth it.

921 Backup lights would not stay in the sockets and kept falling into the housing (pain to get out). Ended up using Yorkim 921 and electrical taping the bulb to the sockets to prevent falling out.

If you have trouble getting the rear turn signal bulb turned around when connected to the plug, just tug on the wire a bit and it will fit in.

2021 Venture - I noticed the 9005 DRL only come on when you select DRL on the light stick (with DRL enabled), otherwise they don't come on at all with the low beams. I drive with my headlights on all the time anyway, so they never come on for me at DRL. So if you disabled DRL and replaced the 9005 bulb with a LED, this should work fine. Now to find a 9005 LED that has a good pattern, typically those with 1mm thick stems work. I also noticed some companies are coming out with round 9005 LED's to get around the dead spot in the pattern.

Any suggestions for a 9005 LED High Bean that have a good beam pattern?

Xenon Depot LEDs are the only ones I have tested that work good as a DRL and fairly good highbeam light output. I have tested several 9005 highbeams with really good highbeam performance but lack in DRL function. Either they flicker or light output is too bright as a DRL. Xenon Depot LEDs did a good job handling both scenarios.

I went with the 40W LasFit LED (no fan model) for the 9005 high beams on my 2021 Venture Model. I'm very impressed with the light brightness and the white color now matches the low beams. No missing areas in the beam pattern. I just disabled the DRL on the front console screen, since they only come on if selected and remain off during normal night driving. I think I paid $9 each open box on Amazon.

Why did you disable DRL? They are flickering?

With the DRL mode being de-activated, which 9005 LED did you find that had the best high beam output and pattern?

He says that LasFit is "good at both" but that doesn't mean it is the best overall for output and pattern if I don't need the DRL's... So, that's why I am asking.

Ah, you meant deactivated. Also his original answer was XenonDepot, not Lasfit. If you're looking for best and brightest it's still likely going to be a good pair of 9011 HIR bulbs.

I use Nilight 9005 LEDs for having best high beam output and pattern for now. Here's the comparison between Nilight vs Morimoto 2stroke 3.0.

I too went with the LasFit 7443 turn signal bulbs all the way around.

Amazon.com: LASFIT 7443 LED Bulb CANBUS Ready 7444 T20 Turn Signal Light Error Free Blinker Anti Hyper Flash, No Load Resistor Need, Upgraded Automotive Replacement Bulb- Amber Yellow (Pack of 2) : Automotive

They advertise them as not having any hyperflash issues - even with no resistors. (That would be a big selling point.) The brightness I can't complain about. The hyperflash issue I will complain about.

If you don't run your turn signals or 4-way flashers for more than a minute or two, you'll be fine. Run them for longer, and these bulbs will transition into hyperflash mode. It's actually quicker than that in the front where the bulb does double duty as running light and turn signal. I had the parking lights on the other night, then turned my right turn signal on. Less than 30 seconds after I activated the turn signal, I had full hyperflash. Not good.

For some folks, hyperflash doesn't seem to bother them. I'm not a big fan of it though and this will probably cause me to pull the LasFit bulbs out and go back to stock.
