I’m looking to put a 2” front and back suspension lift on my 2013 4Runner. I’m looking for some information. At what point do I need to start worrying about drive train, sway bar and other geometry issues? Anyone have information on this?

From my brief research on the subject i seem to remember 2” as a line to stay under so as not need adding other parts. I ended up with a cheap but good shocks (bilstein 5100’s) set at .85 in the front with stock coils. My biggest concern was replacing the stock shocks. But these shocks can be set for a bigger lift in the front if desired. For a rear lift you need different coils.

I’m sure others will give you a lot more detailed info. Good luck

^5100’s are a great start for a mild lift.

I’d stay under 2.5” of lift. Many people shoot for 2.5 front 1.5 rear. Still retains a bit of rake but it’s a good look. Especially with a meaty 33” tire

Yep check out my info page and my set up. Love it!

i think once you go over 2.5 or 3” then you may need UCAs and start watching for geometry issues

Try you tube videos. I watched a ton and learned a lot after i started driving my 4runner. That’s the biggest reason i stuck with a small lift and new shocks, stock size tires. With just those 2 things, shocks and tires it’s a very capable truck that suits my needs nicely. Although big lifts with big tires look great.
