lol, got a snort out of this one. All I could imagine is an Amish dude saying this and just walking away.

No offense meant to any straying Amish bretheren that may be reading this.

It's spelled "delusional". I'm just having fun with you because you seem so concerned with other people's hood scoops. It's kind of weird.

I really don’t have glare problems, Barcelona red
Now what really chaps my hide is all the stars from my windshield, less than 5,000 miles, and the flexing of the hood right behind the scoop

People are weird, and by that I mean me. I actually love looking at that part of the hood flex. Our highlander does it too, but it just doesn't hit me in the same way compared how the 4runner hood flexes and moves…I dunno, hmm….

Maybe it cuz it’s tough and jiggly at the same time???

Sorry, it got weird didnt it?

That flexy-bouncy hood at highway speeds, especially with cross winds, bothered me too. So I took off the felt hood liner and squirted polyurethane caulking into all the crevices between the hood sheet metal and the support ribbing. Where there were bigger gaps I filled them with some stiff foam wedges then gooped them up well with the caulk. The polyurethane takes several hours to set up and outgas but it cures into a very stiff but still slightly spongy material.
It works for me, no more hood flex.

I had pretty bad glare off my scoop so I wrapped it. Had some leftover after wrapping my fenders and it was really easy to do.

I was thinking about putting the scoop wrap on my hood without having a scoop, is that wrong?
