Any pics out there of these stock wheels powder coated matte black? I like the look of these wheels and would like to see in black.

Also, I am pretty sure these stock 17" wheels are 7" wide. What is the largest tire that will fit these without rubbing? Stock 4runner Wheels.jpg

Pm'd you the answer about the tire fitment, posting here just for the information for the general public.

Got your answer. They're 7" wide just like the Pros. The Trails have a 7.5" wide rim. You can physically fit tires above 275 on that wheel, tire manufacturers just don't recommend that fitting.

Your issue using the stock wheels will be rubbing against the upper control arms. This can be solved using spacers from spidertrax for example. However spacers will exacerbate your rubbing issues on the outside edges of the tires and fender liner.

Don't let any of this discourage you, its all possible, just gonna take a little work.

Cool thanks Pablo. But I can go with these stock wheels and 275s with no rubbing issues, correct? (I do plan to do a 3" lift eventually.)

If there are any pics of these wheels in black out there, please post.

I've heard that 275's fit on 5th gen 4Runners without issue or modification.
