Stl guy has question about ignition coils 2002 3rd gen.

    2002 Black and Grey 4Runner
    I have a ignition coil that is needing replacing in a 2002 third gen, 242k mileage. i'm looking to replace all three. where is the best place to buy? off a website or directly at a dealership?

    I bought my genuine Toyota coils off of eBay. They run about $300 for three new ones now.

    Might as well do wires too. They are prob brittle at the connection. New OEM come already ran together. Easy peasy...

    I'm lookin at a set of 3 from NGK ignition coils. are they worth taking a look at?

    Well looks like you will save around $125 so why not.....

    Well there’s a set of new coils and NGK spark plugs fro $59 on there too. I wouldn’t use that kit. Your gonna spend like $70 a piece for NGK coils so they are probably worth it....
