Hi, I am trying to find a SR5 premium with no moonroof. I am tall so not having a moonroof is the only way I can fit without hitting my head. My local dealers in NY are telling me that that all the premiums come with the optional moonroof. Does anyone know if this is true?

I would have liked one without a moonroof as well, but was talked into it(wife). Toyota says the moonroof is optional, so they are around on the preminum without.

Yeah, you can get them with or without on the Premiums.

    My SR5P is without.

Thank you! My wife will not compromise on the third row or I would have purchased an off road premium with no moon roof

I've seen several new premiums in Mass with no moonroof. Might be a regional thing.

Why 3rd row tho? Kids barley fit back there anyway (so I'm told)

I was there a few weeks ago and they had two premiums without a moonroof (I have no idea if they had a 3rd row but they were SR5 premiums). Check out Acton Toyota of Littleton.

Premium with no moonroof must be ultra rare. When I got my non-premium earlier this year, the salesman even said all of the premiums have moonroofs, but I knew he was wrong. He tried upselling me on a premium, and I played along for a little bit, but when I saw the moonroof, I knew I had my out. I'll never have a daily driver with anything resembling a hole in the roof ever again. Not after over 10 years of a Jeep Liberty with its weird sky slider thing. I want to get an old TJ Wrangler in the next few years, but that won't be my daily driver.

Definitely not for vacation. But not bad for short trips like lunch out or happy hour after work.

I’m in Kentucky & just purchased a 2021 4R/ SR5 Premium without bc I didn’t personally want a moonroof. The dealership found it in Indianapolis. So, while most do come with the moonroof, if your dealership wants your biz then they’ll locate one.

I recently asked a dealer in upstate NY (Clifton Park), and he said the same thing. 99% of the SR5 Premiums come with a moonroof. On occasion one won't have a moonroof, but getting your hands on one is very unlikely.

I have ordered a SR5 Premium, but they said it is a 6-9 month wait.

Our 2019 SR5P has no moonroof and 3rd row seating. Fine with me! Wife's RAV4 has a moonroof and we never use it!

You may have to look out of your region and/or possibly put a preference in for what you want.

I opted out for the wife and kids and got the ORP (no 3rd row obviously) and no negative feedback or complaints yet.

If something is optional then it makes zero sense to say that ALL come with it. My 2018 SR5P does not have one.

I was looking for a 2022 Premium w/o the Sunroof in October of 2022, and at that time, only 3 2022 Premium w/o Sunroof were available in the lower 48. The main reason I wanted a premium was the blind spot, and now that is standard on the 2023 SR5.

    Good luck in the search

Welcome to the way Toyota allocates its inventory. Each region is different. If you can’t allocate it in your region, then you or your dealer will have to get it from another region that does. At least you’re not having to deal with the Southeast Toyota region. They add all kinds of unnecessary crap to their inventory at the port. Just search Toyo-Guard.
