    Hi Everyone,

I just recently inherited a 2018 SR5 Premium. It is currently entirely stock (not the trim I would have gone with, but free is free). I have a list of things that I will slowly be doing to it, and lift/leveling is relatively high on the list. I have been looking into lifts and have no idea where to go. I want to even out the rake a little and lift it as much as possible without impacting the CVs or Ball Joints. Currently looking at the Dobinsons IMS leveling kit and adding front and rear coils. Any input/help would be greatly appreciated.

Now thats an idea. Only concern with a lift at that point would be tire clearance if I decided to size up from stock.

EIbach here. Ive had them for 2 years. THey are great on road and off. We did a 5 state off roading trip and did Moab for a week. Solid shocks. I would buy them again

For this vehicle, Lift doesn't really "help" when wanting to up tire size/clearance worth anything.

    Welcome to the forum!!

Yeah, you could do the IMS leveling kit, and then upgrade the rear coils later if/when you add more weight to support that weight or increase the rake again.
I have all the options broken down on this page:
    https://exitoffroad.com/product/dobinsons-ims-leveling-kit-toyota-4runner-5th-gen/

Usually 1.5" of front lift is what most people go with, and keep the stock rear coils until you need to upgrade.

Eibach seems to be a popular choice. The only thing that makes me hesitant to pull the trigger is that any and all lift height over stock is all preload which reduces the suspension travel.

Dobs on the other hand has different spring heights to select from, resulting in more suspension travel.

@TrailSpecial22 has recommended his setup quite often, which leads me to believe he’s confident this is a great setup.
