Hi, I just recently purchased my 86 4runner, And plan on using it this summer for fishing trips to the Sierra. This is my first time owning a 4runner and so far loving it! Im surprised how well these first gen 4runner are made and how they have held up so well over the 30 years. I was a VW guy for many years but now find myself having the same affection for these trucks. Its great to see all the first generation 4runner on this site. Can wait to start going on new adventures in mine.

I usually go to the June Lake Loop. June, Gull, Silver, and Grant Lakes. And Rush Creek most definitely. If I don't feel like going that far, I'll go to Lake Sabrina, North n South Lakes, Intake II, and Bishop Creek. I love the Owens and Rock Creek as well.
I'm in Whittier. Just up the 605 from LB.
