wool wax is the better option. Same company. Little thicker and stays on better

I have used both wool wax and fluid film. I apply once per year with the wool wax gun and kit but last year went to fluid film because my Napa two miles away sells gallon cans. Almost time to reapply next month and I have to say that the fluid film has really held up better then expected. It’s still coating the frame, some front facing areas like the rear diff cover need a reapplication though.

You’re OK. The owner manual actually says:
    “- Four-wheel drive usage frequency
You should drive in four-wheel drive for at least 10 miles (16 km) each month. This will assure that the front drive components are lubricated.”

If you drive on dry pavement in 4WD, do it where you can take any turns gradually. I put mine into 4HI several times a month and drive for 2 or 3 straight miles at a time.
