    Is there a question here?

    I am confused.

The TRD Pro Wheels are 16" Tacoma Wheels and only come in black

The TRD Pro Sema are 17" Wheels that can go on either the Tacoma or 4Runner or FJ - Olathe Toyota just calls it the Pro 4Runner wheel.

It's confusing. Just go by the inches.

I believe the 17" Sema's are matte and the 16" Pros are satin/gloss.

I am actually looking at some factory TRD wheels that are take offs from a dealer who did a wheel and tire package for a 4runner and If I can get them at a good deal I will have them powder coated gloss black.

If you are paying for powder coating them.
Why not do them in a color that really accentuates the truck?
I can think of a few cool colors!
    Just thinking...

I powder coated a set of 4Runner trail wheels in gloss black. Couldn't be happier with that decision. Just make sure you go into the place doing the work to see their sample spray outs.

This is what made me go this route if I could not find anything I really liked. As I do like the factory rims just don’t like the color of them.....

I explored the world of after market rims....just something about that industry that made me feel uneasy. Plus it just seemed like no matter what I chose there was going to be rubbing issues. So I figured this would be the least painful and hassle free route as far as fitment went. Can't say I really saved a ton over aftermarket, but I saved about $200 or so after install.

    What color is your T4R?
    That will help.

I am not sure what they can all do with powder coating. Maybe do the face in gloss black & get the openings done in magnetic gray?
My other idea would be to match the paint. However, it appears that they are the same color as the gray TRD wheels.
Are you set on black wheels? Or black as a primary color?

After looking around for months now I am going to go with gloss black as the primary color I might mix in some silver/chrome for accents just not sure yet. I have yet to really find a design i like other than the TRD SEMA wheels or the plain TRD Off road wheels. There is a guy local that got something on his TRD matte black wheels and cant get the spots out.

I would ask the powder coating place if they can render something or reccomend something. They do it all day.
They may have a phenomenal idea.
Good luck & keep us posted!
