Anyone want a set of 17" alloy wheels off my 2016 Trail Premium? In decent shape, maybe some small scratches, but still shiny. Includes TPMS and lug nuts, such a deal! You know you want these! Chicks dig them, and your love life will improve. Your wife will rave about great they look, as your Hummer-driving neighbor looks on with envy. These are the shit, and you need them, so contact me today, I'm in Auburn! $400

Yeah, that cat is an asshole. He does that cat thing where he acts all lovey dovey, and then bites the shit out of you, like hard enough to kill small animals.

I am looking for some ARB harnesses and I called Musso Off-Road. They are a shop in Orangevale. I ended up talking with them for a bit. Guy I talked to seemed cool. (They are a off road custom shop). Might be worth trying if in the area and need some work done. Disclaimer, I just talked, didn't have them quote me anything real. I will call back tomorrow but the guy was friendly. I will do a little more digging and see if they are a trustworthy shop in our area

Foresthill Quarry area today with @icyhotahs' new 4runner. Sorry we didn't invite everyone; it was a quick, spur of the moment trip.
Still a lot of snow at low altitude.

Not quite as plug and play as I was hoping (Sliders in the way) but some quick trimming and grinding and we will be in business!

Called it a night... I am going to fit the other one tomorrow and melt them on in the evening. Maybe the panhard bar bracket extension if I get motivated

Finished the panhard bar work and the control arm support skids as well. Came out pretty good. Waiting for the suspension to settle before I move the panhard

Does anyone see their invites????? I must have missed mine!!! Haha!

I was up at our cabin this weekend doing some maintenance and there are patches still around the place (6800 elevation east side of sierras (markleeville)).

Also, there is a Tacoma meetup/swap meet/BBQ cook off at prairie City coming up (April).... I will let you all know when a date is locked in.

Okily dokily, fellow explorers! I'll be going to the Sparks/Virginia City area soon, to check out a petroglyph site, then maybe a fossil plant site near Virginia City, depending on time. Roads are generally easy, but bumpy AF because of heavy OHV use. All are invited. I don't have a day yet, because I usually wait for weather and other factors, like a full moon. Message me if you're interested. I'll also be visiting a quartz crystal site near Verdi, sometime closer to May. Otherwise, I'm headed up to the hills at least once a week, so let me know if you want to go out! I do make a lot of stops, fair warning, and I try to avoid the weekends. Check me out on Facebook, , if you want to see some local pics and get a better idea of what I do. Here's a pic of the area near Sparks. Lots of basalt in the roadbed:

If you're gonna be in Verdi I think Heness Pass Rd basically runs straight west into Calif from there and it has some sporty dirt sections after you cross 89...

Yep, that’s a pretty chill drive out there from Truckee to crystal peak. I’d be down for that one. Bring a bucket to fill up with rocks you find!

Lots of Indian sites, too, and some pornographic Basque tree carvings. I'll post again when I know a day for sure. People are still getting stuck up in Dog Valley.

Down at Dotons Pt again. Glad a friend shared this with us. It's on Folsom Lake, and with the low levels you can drive on to the lake. Gorgeous.

I think I'm going to combine the Sparks petros and Crystal Mine into one trip, camping overnight, but there's still too much snow. So is anyone up for a quick trip above Foresthill, tomorrow or Thursday?

If I can get to the spot, I will be going hiking and looking for crystals for a couple hours, but if that's not your thing of course you can move along. I'll bring you up an epic hill climb before that point, at least.

Nice looking family, Icy. Did you pay some strangers to pose with you?
