Lots of options. What are looking for? What are you using it for? How many people?

just one person. I am looking for a tent that goes on top of my 4runner, for basic camping. I have seen pictures of them i was intrigued.

I'm currently shopping hard shells because I think they are easier to setup and take down with one person. They are of course more money but I am looking at...

    Roofnest Sparrow

    Roofnest Sparrow Eye

    Maggiolina Airtop

    Maggiolino Columbus Variant SMXL

I have also thought about going cheaper and getting a Smittybuilt or a Yakima but really think a hard shell will better suit my needs.

I am currently in contact with Roofnest and Maggiolina USA and they have both been responsive and on point with answering my questions. The Maggiolina's are more money but they have a 5 year warranty and a good rep. The Roofnest has a two year warranty but they also have a rep for good customer service if needed. There are a lot of options out there as mentioned and it's hard to make a decision. Hell I am having a hard time making a decision on which rack to buy, so just do your due diligence, decide what you want and what your budget is. Good luck with your choice.

I think this is one of the cheaper options but still has great reviews.

What are you running for a roof rack right now? Will it support the weight of a roof top tent and a person?

You could also look at Tepui, CVT, ARB simpson III
