Will stickers peel off of back window when you roll it down or do they slide by??
Have some cool stickers from my travels I wanted to throw on, but didn't want to ruin them?

    Thnx

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I have an NRA sticker at the top and an American flag on the lower part. I don't lower the window all that much but after about 10 months they are fine.

I could see how maybe over time and a lot of up/down cycles it might scuff them a little but I think it would be ages before we see any real damage.

It absolutely will effect them. The window has a slot seal that the stickers will drag across, it’s not going to tear them up overnight but long term it’s impossible for it to not effect it. It’s just simply a byproduct of friction.

I remember reading on one of these forums, or Facebook groups, a couple guys had issues with their tint being pulled off when they lowered their rear windows... That being said, I've had no issues with my tint, but I only rarely roll the back window down.

I usually put my stickers up high if they are on the back, that way i can roll the window down halfway.

I find the thinner the sticker the longer they last. Put them up higher like SlvrSlug said. The vast majority of the time I only open the rear 2 to 4 inches with affects the lower stickers all the time.

i have 2 stickers on the lower right corner of my rear window; i use my rear windows quite frequently and my stickers are still there! Just clean the area you're applying the sticker to really well and you shouldn't have any issues.

3.5 years later and all our stickers are good. They are on the thinner side.
