    im looking at rims and getting confused...can someone tell me what the different bolt patterns mean...like 5 on 5 or 6 on 5.5??

    6 on 5.5".
    6 is the # of wheel studs.
    5.5" is the measurement between two studs. i.e. Look at a clock, 12 - 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10. You would measure from the center "12" to the center of "6".
    And they are also measured in Metric Measurement.
    And stud diameter too.

    The metric is size is 6x139.7 which is the same as 6x5.5.

    If you are looking for new wheels you may also want to try and find hub centric wheels for best fit. The hub bore size 106mm. This is not necessary though, they do make adapters...
