Rigs & builds you wish you owned or never sold

First one is my entry into 4X4’s; 1982 Toyota 4X4 short bed, many mods, purchased new $8,150 otd. Second is a 1999 Toyota prerunner 2wd, check out the body through exhaust just in front of the rear tire, purchased used for $5,100, bike in the bed is a 2003 Honda CR250. Third is a 2005 Toyota Tundra Double Cab TRD Off-Road 2wd, purchased new for $29,500, sold 07/09/2023 for $14,500 with 177,000 miles to purchase my T4R.

 

Don’t know is these count but here’s a couple other off-road vehicles I’ve owned. First one, my favorite, is an 1,835 cc “tail dragger”. Second is a 2,180cc mid engine.

I wish I still had my 2nd gen Acura Legend. I owned 2 of them (Both Pearl white - a 91 Sedan and the 93 Sedan pictured). I loved driving that car. My 91 was totaled in a hail storm and I sold the 93 because I was paranoid of the known BHG issues (I think they finally found the cause to it in the Legend forums). For a moment, I thought about getting one more, but parts are hard to come by and I'm not sure I'm up for that anymore.

I don't recall if I posted this earlier in the thread, but this is the 73 Chevy K10 that I had when I was in high school. Bought it as a project when I was 14 and starting auto shop, and put it on the road when I got my license. 4-in lift kit, 35-in tires, built 350 with a Holley 4 barrel, headers & duals, with a TH350, NP205, and Dana 44 front, 12 bolt rear with factory 3.73 gears. Looking back, I think my parents allowed me to drive this since all my money went into parts and gas for this, zero money left for drugs or booze, LOL.

I kick myself daily for selling this in the early 2000s to finance a Trans Am project. I told myself I'd get another one someday, but that someday has passed because these things cost a fortune now.

 

Man! I miss the Mud Kings I had on my old '86 Toyota, thanx for the memory. Nice truck you had too.. no intentions to inflict a sore spot.
