1988 Mustang GT...331 stroker, 03 cobra IRS, 03 cobra brake upgrade. Had a built auto for drag racing, but was going to covert to manual for road course.

Sigh, so much want.

Even with 25% tax for pickups the Australia market 70 series pickup would be under 64k US.

So it is just the US regulations that kept it from coming here.

Thanks man I appreciate it. It's a work in progress. I got rid of my OBS ford and bought this a few months ago. Rebuilt/built the motor and then the clutch let go. It makes about 500hp. Right now it's lifted about 24" on 44" boggers. I picked up a straight dually bed and adapters to run super single semi tires. I haven't decided if I'm going to leave it as tall as it is or drop it down a bit. It has a body lift on it I would like to take off but it helps with clearance and the high rise manifold.

 

1985 with every possible option…..my oldest son rolled it…..twice.

That's a clean pickup. It would make me sick as well.

I think you're right on the AI.
Toyota did make these from like 91-95. Pretty sure it was for a military contract.

Nothing special about it, but I do miss my 2nd gen Taco. Traded it in at 9 years old with less than 50k on the odo, it still looked nearly new!

While the 4R is a nicer rig to live with in almost every way, for the things Taco was good for (hauling loads) it was practically indispensable.
