The Jeep community has this stupid rubber duck thing where someone leaves a duck on your rig and a note that says "Your rig looks amazing, register your duck and rig at..." I had probably a dozen on mine over a years period of time. Not a thing I am interested in. I'm guessing the OP is trying to start a thing for 4Runners. No thanks.

I wasn’t trying to make fun or hurt feelings in any way, i just didn’t get it.

 

My buddy has a gecko glued to the hood of his XJ, is this the same thing?

 

I have no idea if it’s the same thing or not with the FJ. I was just jealous of the adorable ducks and trying to think of something fun for other 4Runner lovers to be able to let another person know they loved someone else’s as well. It also just brightens peoples days. I think you should be able to duck any awesome looking car, personally. lol. But I didn’t want to deal with Jeepers saying 4Runner people stole their idea. The girl who did it originally was just trying to brighten someone’s day. That was my only goal! Thank you for the positive responses and all of the welcomes, regardless! lol

I used to own a JKUR a few years ago and I never saw or heard of the rubber duck deal. Learn something new every day!

Welcome from the center of the bourbon universe. Generally the only frogs around my 4R are under the tires.

 

Welcome!!! Cute idea but I don't think so (at least for me). Toyota 4Runner.org has placards that invite people to join and 4Runners of Washington has window stickers (on Facebook) = both groups are free to join (I do consider this site to be the best of the three).

BTW: Here in the Cascades, we have tailed frogs!

Why not leave a Grogu ("baby yoda") with a tag saying "You've been "ToYODA'd".

Saw this somewhere and it is what I do when I see a sweet rig, 4runner or Tacoma.
I have some tags for Jeeps too that have a lil different message than those I leave on Toyotas.

I am out of the Grogus right now but will post a couple pics if then when I get more with the different tags I use.

 

Yes! I am doing the ToYoda’d too. So cute! I made some tags and bought key chains with baby Yoda on them. We are a Jeep family too but I love the 4Runner!

I was actually looking to see if 4Runners had something like the sheep ducks. I found the frogs and the baby today ideas on here. I like both but have never seen either.
I’m new to the group but I’ve had two red 4Runner Trd off road premium 18 and a 21.

Frogs are cool, but I would think a snake would be cooler with the way the front side looks somewhat like a head of a snake, even more so with those that have a viper cut lol.
