    Hi all.

Departing tomorrow to pick up our 'new to us' 2015 4Runner, Premium Trail Edition. Quite excited about being back in what has been our vehicle of choice since our first 4Runner SR5 in 1991. But true confessions--last year we sold our much beloved and faithful 1999 4Runner Limited and (blush!) purchased a 2015 Subaru Outback 3.6L Limited. It was a lovely vehicle in almost every respect, but absolutely nothing like a 4Runner. I know, I know. I don't know what I was thinking. After a year of my wife working really hard to not say how much she missed 'her' 4Runner every time we got into the Outback, I admitted my mistake and bit the bullet, selling the Outback and buying the 4Runner that we will pick up in Edmonton on Wednesday. In hindsight, I really and truly do not know what I was thinking... But I've come back.

Below is the dealer's photo of what I am picking up on Wednesday. I'm like a kid the night before Christmas!4Runner.jpg

I love our Trail Premium, it's a combination of a nice ride with some surprisingly good off road chops.

My first car was a 1991 Acura Integra, followed by a 1992 Acura Integra, then a 1996 Honda Prelude (Still miss this car...it was wrecked). Then my parent's 1999 Acura 2.5TL, then a 2004 Altima 3.5SE (This was a sleeper car), then FINALLY a 2006 Tacoma, followed by a 2011 Tacoma. Mistakes were made, bought a Chevy Silverado...gonna fix that in the next few years though. So Honda's ain't bad either :)
