    You are correct. 4wheelparts is the only one that is saying it cant be sold in california

    Ok I’m a little bit ignorant here. The vehicle alternator won’t charge the batteries? Can someone explain this to me?

    That is a good question. The alternator can charge the other battery, but from what i hear it cant charge it to its full potential. The redarc can charge its max voltage. Also it allows charging from solar panel.
