Hi folks, I could use a little info. The two rear side windows have the lines in them. It’s getting colder here in Massachusetts. I’ve used the rear defrost button, the mirrors clean up first then the rear window. I haven’t yet noticed the side rear windows clearing up. Are they the last to clear up?

I just came from a 2015 Toyota Tacoma with no heated side mirrors, I’m excited to not have to spray them in the morning with alcohol and water

The lines in the side windows are antenna's for the FM & AM radio stations I believe

I wasn't sure what those lines were for either. Asked the same question not too long ago. This forum is awesome with oodles of knowledge!

Okay, I too wondered why the side windows in the rear weren’t defrosting . After reading the threads they are the antenna. Funny as I looked in the manual and it said mirrors and rear window defroster. Thank yiu to everyone!

I thought I was responding to a thread I posted a few months ago. My 4Runner was hit and ran at the start of the summer in the driver's rear and the side glass was busted out. The replacement is a different color. I have silver lines in one side and orange on the other...when looking from the inside. The outside looks the same. Thanks for.looking,Dan
