I have decided to buy the weather tech bumper protection and step, but can't decide between the base BumpStep (12in) or BumpStepXL(24in). Any advice on the two?

Well I can't seem to even find what you are looking for on their massive website. Can you provide links?

https://www.weathertech.com/bumpstepxl/ I don't have experience with these but I think the weathertech one is a little weird looking and very blocky

In my opinion I like this one better...It seems to cover more of the rear

An then the Smittybilt one which is cheaper and doesn't take away too much ground clearance.

Anyway good luck with your search. Let us know what you get.

Good suggestion my friend.....I looked at them before and Go Rhino looks sleeker than the rest....However, IMO....it takes the rugged look out of the Runner....Good thing it is easily removable......

I like these things but just don't think I would use it much since I tow a lot and the hitch is always on there.
