    Hi all,
just added the lower valances to my SR5, bumper removal was a breeze but the reinstall has me confused where the bumper corner meets the body and those 2 tiny little clips/ tabs that click on just below the taillights.
    Does this gap look correct.
I tried different angles, applying pressure in different spots, put on/ off several times, same result on both sides, anyone know the secret to getting it to click all the way in if this is wrong?
    thank you_copie-0_20190210_134937.jpg _copie-0_20190210_134937.jpg _copie-0_20190210_134943.jpg _copie-0_20190210_135004.jpg

I’ve never pulled my bumper so I can’t comment on reassembly, but I took a few pics for comparison if that’s helpful. My gap looks a little bit tighter. I hope somebody with reassembly experience can chime in. It was dark in my garage when I took these pics so they may not be too helpful. Good luck!

Thankyou, that does help. Pretty sure I'm not catching the clip right above the curve.

Yeah I can't comment either but you do have an uneven gap. Went used car shopping with a relative last summer and he got a used Honda. It also had a little "tap" on the front bumper which was a little uneven. Dealer kept it a couple days and gave it to the body shop they straightened it out right no clue how though.

The TRD valences are the Silver plastic trim pieces attached to the bumper in my last pic. I had to remove the bumper cover to cut the slits for the valences tabs.

Thx - I didn't have an problems with the front, that went back on pretty easily for me. I've been looking at other TR4's in parking lots, I definitely did not get a full click on the clips. I worked the passenger side into almost flush now but the drivers side wont give in yet and still has a slight bulge. Wondering if taking off the taillight would help massage it in there.

in case any one else also has this gap issue on the rear bumper corners, A member on T4R offered this info up and it works, no more gap. Hope it helps someone here. See post # 7.option 2.

I just had this happen to me and found this thread and link, and it really helped! I don't think the link above shows up for non-members...

Just wanted to add a photo of the tab in question which got folded in/down, which causes the bulge, for folks in the future doing the same searching. ;) Just need to pull it back out enough for it to slide in above the groove like the rest of the lip/tabs. It's difficult to see this when first facing the issue.
