    So i went shopping for a bumper and found that they cost a tone money especially living in Canada. I talked to a few custom builders in and around my area and their prices were very high as well. So.....I decided to to what i really didn't want to do is build my own. So here it is......

    Side view. Btw.....i added a shovel mount as well. I was going to put a highlift jack on it but opted to go with the shovel instead.....much lighter. The highlift will go on the roof rack that I'm going to build.

    Works great. I also pulled out a jeep from the ditch the other day. Yeeeaaaah. Very happy with it. This summer will be the front and roof rack.

    Thanks but it was a LOT of work. It would be hard to make money doing this. It's more gratifying to me then anything. I love making stuff....lol.

    That must be why all of the bumpers and sliders take so long to make. I have heard a lot of complaints on lead time once ordered. Glad you were able to do it yourself. :headbang:

    Thanks. Yeah it was my first time. It took about two months from start to finish but not full on. I worked on it when i could and my work place did the same.

    this is very cool. how hard was it to work around mounting the bumper to the frame instead of the body? did you just use the holes for the hitch mount?
