hey guys! Looking to do my first project on my 98 limited. Just ordered 8 quarts of raptor liner and scuff padded my whole car. If any of y’all have tips or pics that would be awesome so I could get an idea of what it’s going to look like. Cheers!

I’ve not seen a 4Runner but there are a couple 1st gen Tacoma’s I’ve seen on Tacomaworld that were lined. It looks good.

I spray lined an 84 Ambulance. Make sure you have a strong compressor, tape the heck out of anything you don't want to hit including in door jams and aluminum foil works great for covering large areas.

I just bought my 91 and its lined and i love it, no need to worry about scratches lol
only problem is that they painted the door handles and its starting to chip off but no other complaints

I just bought a first gen that is lined and I'm not a fan. I'm going to strip it get the body work done and have my buddy paint it. I have a 92 pickup that I did rocker panels and I like the look and the functionality of it. In my experience don't skimp on the prep work

yea i have to pull off the door handles because they are chipping due to lack of prep and properly doing them. prob going to go with a plastidip for the handles and leave the line

Sounds like a fun project tho. Good luck! Its been years since I did the rockers on my pickup but I remember the liner smelling really toxic. A respirator may be a good idea.

Hint: If you line it in the color of the dirt......you never have to wash it. :)IMG_20170928_152730.jpg

Used to have an old Chevy bonanza that was shit brown. I honestly don’t think I ever washed it and it never looked dirty ;)
