Radio question - no power?

Hi, we have a 2003 that doesn't seem to get power or power on the head unit. The fuses looked ok, but would anyone have an idea of how else I could test this? I suppose pulling it out and giving it 12v/ground on the back would verify?

Any options or things to watch for if I have to replace it? It is the JBL sound/6cd/tape deck in there now. I'd like to stay factory, but they all seem to be $100 or more on ebay, which is about a decent aftermarket installed.
