I bought a set of TRDP Fox shocks with 3000 miles for $800 and put them on my 2020 Venture.

The shocks are amazing, the vehicle is much more planted and can corner very well with limited body roll. Zero regrets.

    Back to my concern.
I measured the height before install and after the test drive and I’m puzzled by the results.

    All measurements are in inches.

    Pass Front

    35 :After - 35 13/16

    Driver front

    34 9/16 :After - 35 1/16

    Pass Rear

    36 15/16 :After - 37 3/4

    Driver Rear

    36 11/16 :After - 38 1/8

I’ve been searching and have seen similar findings from people but wanted to see if you guys had any thoughts on this.

I’d also like some input if you’d recommend a spacer or shim to level it out (brand and height suggestions as well please :) )

The front shocks are side specific. Did you install them on the proper side?

Did you measure on flat ground in the same spot with your before and after measurements?

Did you drive the truck around before you took your after measurements?

    Do you have KDSS?

I'm wondering how the rear went up. Shocks have zero to do with height and share the same springs as any other runner

Didn’t know they were side specific. I put them next to each other and they looked very similar. I’m going to be pretty upset if I have to swap them lol

I drove the truck around after I installed them and I measured in my garage.

    No kdss.

    Im wondering the same thing.

The shock on the drivers side is up higher to adjust for the lean. look at just below the seat of the spring it sits up higher from the decal. You can see the difference with them installed also

Thanks dude, I just checked the fronts and I installed them on the incorrect side.
Thinking about getting a spacer anyways so I’ll install it correctly with a spacer.

Might wanna wait on the spacer. Long story but I've had 3 -5th gen runners in just this past year. The pro was perfectly level up front and rear was 3/4" off on driver's side.
The 2 orp's had lean front and back by 1/2". From what I've read not all runners lean and some have more than others. Book says check with 1/2 tank of gas and no load in the vehicle

Having the driver front the lowest explains why all the measurements are off. I’ll change them back this Wednesday and report back.
    Thanks for the help dude!

Yep, wait on the spacer. See how you’re sitting after you get them installed correctly and with a half tank or less of gas.

Okay, 3- 5th gens! Now answer me this... how many different sets of fogs or low beam bulbs have you tried? LMAO
You know I am joking (however, it is true)!

Reversed the suspension and its sitting lower now in the passenger rear. Front looks better and has less rake to it vs stock.

Ill remeasure when I hit a half tank tomorrow.

Thanks again for all the help gents!
