Anyone recently sold their Pro Roof Rack? I have a 21 Pro and ran into a guy today that has a 2015 Inferno Pro. I expressed interest in selling the rack and he is really interested since he is a former FJ owner and likes the Pro Rack. Curious to what the market value is today. Looks like a new one from Toyota is $600 - $700. Thanks!

    Thanks for the replies!

I have not used the rack for anything. The vehicle / rack is 13.5 months old. The rack is still mounted on the vehicle. I would think it would be considered "in good shape".

The Toyota website shows the Pro Roof Rack for $699 - discounted to $609. Says - "Must supply VIN and have a 2019 or newer TRD PRO to purchase this item".

I personally wouldn’t pay more than 300 for it. I’d ask between 300-400. Your item though so you can ask for what you like and what you think is fair.

    Fair Varies person to person.

I was kind of thinking at least 50 - 60% of the current retail value new which is $609 + tax (MD 6% = $36.54) = $645.54. I don't think there would be a shipping charge if ordered directly from a dealership. I could just keep it here in storage, but hope to downsize in two years and plan to keep the 4R for a dozen years. My wife would be on my ass for having that rack lying around for approximately 11 years. I would think $375 is a fair number!

Sold mine for $400, you don't charge tax on used items...

Of course you don't charge a sales tax on a used item. I was simply stating that is a added cost if someone opted to buy a new one from the Toyota dealer.
