Hi everyone. I'm close to buying my very first car and was wondering if I'm looking at the right price here. The car is a 2003 4th Gen 4Runner Limited V8 with 250.000km on it. The dealer is asking for CA$13k, I brought it down to CA$11.5k. Am planning on taking it to a mechanic this week to get it checked out. Everything on it seems fine to me and looks well looked after with only one previous owner, no accidents and a tone of paperwork for the service history. Was just wondering if the price is in about the right range, since it's a lot of money for a 16 y/o car.

    CA$11.5k = US$8.5k

Sounds about right. I recently sold my 2004 limited with ~ 200k miles for $7K usd.

I took the car to a Toyota mechanic who told me not to buy it unless the guy is giving it away for free:annoyed:
