Previous owner, new to this forum.

My name is Steve and my wife & I live in the So. Cal. Mtns. She is retired and I'm a heavy equipment op. who is getting ready to pull the plug. Having owned 4 Toyota P/U's, from a 1970, '73, '78, '93 4x4 and the current 2014 DC TRD O/R 4x4. In 2002 we bought a '98 T4R Limited 4x4, that had 75,000 miles on it, and no evidence of it going off road (OC/LA freeway driver). The both of us loved that 4R until the motor let go in 2010 (295,000 mi.). That is when we bought a Rav4. Anyhow we are thinking about trading in the Tacoma and selling the Rav4, to afford a 2016 4-Runner Trail Premium. The local dealership wants the Tacoma for their used stock.
Sorry for going on & on about what I want but I have read a lot of info on this forum, and are looking forward to being a T4R owner again.

Ps. Up until a few years ago I had 3 TLC's. A '63 FJ-45 Short Bed, a '75 FJ-40 (for parts) and my former daily driver, '73 FJ-40 that I bought used in 1978.

Thanks. My wife and I are very interested in owning a T4R again. It will be our DD and mild off-roader. For the fun rock crawling and Adopt-A-Trail work I volunteer for, I have a highly modded Jeep TJ and a trailer I built to drag over the rocks. And it has a Toyota truck bed on it.
