    Hey Folks,
Looking for a new electric pressure washer. Nothing too expensive, a more jack of all kinda model for things around the house and car wash.
Have heard about DeWalt, Westinghouse and Green works.

Any particular model that people like and are happy with on a day or day basis.
    Share some recommendations.

I just picked one up this past fall at Menards. I believe it was this one:

    https://www.menards.com/main/outdoo...her/5100294vt/p-10834816302692484-c-10113.htm

I have only used it twice so far. But, it was perfect for blasting the mud off of the 4Runner. I also used it for some other light duty stuff, and it worked fine. Provided it doesn't crap out on me in a year, I'm very happy with it. IIRC, one of the other Wisconsin guys on Tacomaworld has had the same unit for a few years without issue.

I also replaced the hose it came with with a longer Flexzilla hose, which was well worth it, IMO.

That is compact and reasonable .
Do you think it's powerful enough for driveway cleaning also?

I think it would work fine. My only concern would be running a smaller unit like that constantly for a longer period of time. I did run mine quite a bit to hose all of the mud off of driveway after cleaning the 4Runner, though.

Obviously, a large gas powered one would be better for large areas.

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
Whatever you choose make sure it has a Honda engine, mine is almost 20yrs old and still starts on the 1st pull.

Sorry, missed that. Almost all my neighbors have borrowed my Karcher PW over the years and has been used a LOT. The pump is going to need new seals soon as it has a slight leak.

As cheap as the tips are, I would suggest investing in a 25 & 40 degree based on what comes in the kit. I have a Ryobi and it has been a trooper over the last 7 years. I also purchased the 9 foot extension for around the house. Just enough power for me not to screw anything up. Cleans the driveway without any problems.

I use this little guy. It only have power to use the included 15 degree and turbo nozzle. Do not have power to use a 3 nozzle under car attachment. So I use bend down and use the 15 degree nozzle to washer the user side of the car. Since my house hold only have 4Runners its not hard to wash the user side.

My cheap Craftsman 2100 has been doing fine for 3 years.. it's not high on the PSI scale but perfect for my usage.. the tips rust easy so buy extras.. I've read hit and miss reviews on this model.. but I have no complaints using it for the car, driveway, and recently blowing crud out of an artificial lawn where it ran continuously for a good 30 min.. probably should have let it rest but nothing blew up.

I'd watch the Obsessed Garage video on washers. I chose Kranzle but that's $2K. I believe he recommends Comet or Active if you are on a budget.

Is the 40 degree recommend for car washes and other painted surfaces?

Interested in one... My Dad lets me borrow his Ryobi gas powered pressure washer every year and I use it to clean driveway, house/fence (for paint/stain prep), cleaning BBQ Grill. I liked the idea of having one for myself, but I find 1 time a year is all I really need one. Maybe I'd use one more if I owned one. I don't mind going to the car wash to use the pressure washer there for the cars.
