    Hi

I have a 95 4runner that I just bought. I am having trouble with the passenger rear window. It will roll down but not back up. I have tested the switch as per the manual and it is good. I have bench tested the motor and it moves smoothly in both directions with power put to it. I even spent the $5 on an aftermarket switch. That didn't change anything. Is there a relay somewhere? What else could it be?

Check the wiring that passes through the drivers door jamb. Common place for wires breaking and drivers switch controls all switch function. It's kind of a pain but remove the door panel and gently pull on each wire that passes through the door jamb into the cab. I bet you will find your problem there.
