I'm seeing that' too. I imagine many of the photos posted here lose something in translation.
    That's correct. Just mean.

I'll email myself a photo from desktop, look at it on my iPhone 8 and it looks great. Save and send the pic to my wife's Samsung (email or text), and it gets fuzzy. I guess that's a common problem.

Sad, all this modern technology, and we still can't get clear pics from platform to platform

Is there an easy way to look at all the photos you've posted so as to avoid duplicates?

Tiger Swallowtail, missing the tails. This girl is a survivor. Not very crisp when copied here. Trying again.

Tiger Swallowtail uploaded instead of copied. Still not crisp. Something must happen to the graphics with translation to the website. Annoying.

The most distant objects I've photographed, aside from stars. Jupiter with 4 moons visible, and Saturn. Not good pics, but I was thrilled to actually get recognizable ones.

Lol, semi cheated, I don't have a phone mount, but I have to put my phone lens too the telescope lens, that's a pain while everything is moving in the sky, as far as the p900 goes, I've actually never thought about using it for that that...... what did you use to get the shots of Jupiter so close..I use my telescope for that too... that's really hard

I use the P900 for all of these shots. Actually, virtually every photo I take at present. Tripod, and mess around with the exposure until I start getting it. I would guess it's way easier than what you're doing. Your way probably produces better shots, ultimately, but a lot of work I imagine. I also MUST use a 2-second shutter delay, as I don't have a remote release, and finger presses are just too shaky. It surprised me how much clearer my shots became once I began doing that. Not just night shots, but everything.

I've got a tripod, I keep meaning to use it.. but never have, originally, I bought my p900, and the pod for the wife, which.. shes never used it, so I started taking it for my eagle shots, then pretty soon almost all my other stuff, still trying to figure it out, 1st actual camera I've had .. all been phone up until the last year or so..... I'm almost afraid to mess w settings on the nikon, cuz I'm not sure what half of it is lol

I hear you. The P900 has really surprised me with what it can do, and I’m still learning. I’ve had decent success figuring things out with searches. How to use manual focus, for example. But it’s so good on program/auto that it makes me lazy sometimes.
