PCV Valve broken elbow

I was trying to replace the PCV and when I removed the tube the plastic elbow on the intake manifold broke off. At the Toyota dealership they said I need to replace the whole manifold, but I was hoping there was another option if someone has had this issue.

 

I would try to remove the old one and then tap it for a brass barbed fitting of the appropriate size. The manifold will likely need to be removed to do this
