Hey all. I noticed my passenger a-pillar grab handle seemed a little loose. I popped the caps and one of the bolts was not even finger tight. I started cranking it down with my wrench but it felt like I was crushing plastic. I was expecting the bolt to stop turning, but got worried about cracking the plastic and backed off. On my Tacoma I just cranked it down until it stopped turning. It reached a solid end point. Do any of you have experience with tightening these bolts on your 4Runner? Should I keep turning or leave as is? Thanks.

Never had this problem but if its tight enough then I would say just leave it as is. But Im not an expert lol

Thanks. That’s my plan I guess. I was surprised it didn’t tighten to a stop.
