I have a 2006 Limited V8 and have a serious battery drain and I can’t find the cause. Alternator and battery are both good and check out. I have put a multimeter in series with the battery and am seeing a 12 amp draw I have pulled all fuses in engine compartment and cab with no luck in the drain dropping. Disconnected remote start, starter, plug connections to all doors. Running out of ideas. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you have an aftermarket alarm? If so, pull the brains and that should stop it.

I have seen this issue - but on a 2006 - 07 Landcruiser. The vehicle had a number of mods, and I don't think they ever figured it out. One thing it did have was a way to Bluetooth cell phone audio to the factory stereo. Does yours have this?
Another mod was Hella driving lights.
And, as stated above, an aftermarket alarm system.

Yes after market remote start/alarm pulled all the brains and everything in-line fuses still didn’t make a difference. No aftermarket stereo or Bluetooth components. Thanks I will keep digging.

I wonder if there is either a short in a wire harness somewhere - such as the firewall pass through, or possibly a ground with high resistance (corrosion). There are systems in your truck, such as computers, that require power full time. Another item to look at is the dashboard clock. I had an older Toyota HiLux with a digital clock that used to run down my battery.

When you say you disconnected the remote start, what exactly did you disconnect? I had a problem one time on a Corolla and pulled both 30-amp fuses to fix that problem.
